Today (Monday 17 January) we have launched our latest recruitment campaign for new Board Members.
Now Our Hearings, Our Voice (OHOV) is three years old, we are ready for our next intake of Hearings-experienced children and young people.

Since we recruited our first group of Board Members, there has been a fantastic amount of activity and progress. We recently celebrated the first anniversary of publication of our Zine and our 40 Calls to Action which is making a real impact in the Children’s Hearings System.
Over the last three years, we have been involved in some fabulous pieces of work from recruitment of senior leaders and Panel Members, to influencing guidance on keeping brothers and sisters together, helping design an advocacy website for children and young people, and to influencing redesign of the Hearings System. You can read more about our work in 2021.
The next two years are a critical time in the redesign of the Children’s Hearings System to ensure it centres around the needs and voice of the children and families involved.
