We were excited to welcome a new member of the team last month. Amy Miskimmin-Logan is our new Participation Development Worker.
It is Amy’s third week and she has been getting to know board members and key partners.
She said: “I’m delighted to join OHOV as a Participation Development Worker and I’ve had a great few weeks getting to know everyone here at Our Hearings, Our Voice. My first board meeting on 26th March was relaxed and enjoyable, with fun team building games and an opportunity to meet the fantastic board members.
“I’m excited about the positive changes in legislation that are coming, as part of The Promise, and look forward to working with board members to hear their thoughts and ideas on how Children’s Hearings can be improved.”
Project Lead Gordon Main said: “I’m absolutely over the moon having Amy on board at OHOV. She brings fantastic skills, values and energy to what she does and is already working hard to ensure the young board members have the support they need to create change in the Hearings System.”
