Accessing our website …
Your information is protected by the law. The ways in which people’s personal information are protected are known as data protection.
At Our Hearings, Our Voice (OHOV), we are committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our website.
When you visit the site, you do not have to give us any information about yourself.
If you email us via the website ourhearings-ourvoice@gov.scot only a handful of OHOV staff have access to this secure mailbox.
If you chose to provide information about yourself or others; this information will be held by OHOV for a maximum of four weeks before being deleted. During the time, the information is held by OHOV it is protected from public access and can only be viewed by OHOV staff. (You can visit the about us section on the website to see who we are).
When someone visits the OHOV website, we will collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of people visiting the OHOV website.
